Become a referee!

Each CSL club must nominate at least one person to be trained as a referee and form part of an inaugural pool of CSL referees that may be called upon to assist at their choosing should any future matches be unallocated.

You will be trained to Level 4 and be free to assist and be appointed to other FFSA matches, juniors, women’s, men’s etc – if you want to.

The first part of the training course – the Laws of the Game – will be self-training online.  Once successfully completed you can print off a certificate of competency and progress to the next training module – the Level 4 Referee Course.

The Level 4 Referee Course will be held at 6pm on Monday May 27.

The cost is $160 (discounted by 50%), which will be at least in part covered by either the club or the league.

However, you will earn up to $80 per match that you officiate – so the course will quickly pay for itself.
